It's funny I've been talking about electric muscle cars in previous articles this week, because one of my favorite electric car companies is starting to take off. You might of heard of them, they are called Tesla Motors. Yeah, they've had some ups and downs in the last few years. But, that's what happens when you're an inexperience car company trying to build an all electric sports car. It's not a real easy thing to do ya know, it's going to take time, money, and a lot of effort.

Latest news from Tesla Motors is they are planning to build more cars and give up information on some additional models coming for the future. The Model S is expected to surface in 2012 with a price tag of $50,000, around half the price of the Roadster. Lets just hope they get the safety standards right this time. Before they couldn't pass the 2008 air bag standars. There were other problems as well, but I think they are on track now. It will be interesting to see who's electric car is better, Teslas or the other ones GM and many other car companies are building. It sure would be great to see a small company like Tesla come out on top!
