2010 Brendspeed Saleen Mustang

Brenspeed and Saleen Inc. has partnered up to make masterpiece, I have to say they accomplished their custom Ford Mustang with flying colors. It's one bad ass looking Mustang. Under the hood of this custom Mustang is a Brenspeed B302 engine, on the outside is a Saleen Speedlab body kit. The two companies show what type of custom muscle car you can make by entertwining performance parts.

The Brenspeed Saleen Mustang is making 600+ horsepower to the rear wheels, to achieve the big gains Saleen slapped on a 6.5 series supercharger and let Brenspeed tune it. It's truly great to see two of the biggest aftermarket companies work together.

This upcoming weekend, the Brenspeed Saleen Mustang will be making a debut at the NMRA event in Bradenton. Race car driver Brent White says “We’re there to create a relationship with customers and demonstrate the power and performance of Saleen’s different products on track. We’ll show consumers how they can use Speedlab products to significantly increase the performance of a standard Mustang GT that anyone can buy at a Ford dealer.” I for one can't wait to see more footage of this baby, it's one sweet muscle car.

My Classic Car with Dennis Gage

As a young whipper snapper I used to think of Dennis Gage as a big cheese ball, the funny way he talks and how he's always full of energy, not to mention his mustache. As a young muscle car enthusiast, the cool thing to do was to be tough and quiet. If anyone asked what you had under the hood, you just said some smart as remark and kept your mouth shut. I wasn't really like that, but I know a lot of guys who were. I ran a muscle car club so I could never acted like that, not like I wanted to anyways.

Now as I've grown older I've started to really respect Dennis Gage. This is how we should all be in the muscle car world, friendly and ready to meet new gear heads from around the nation. Since muscle car hobby has hit the internet, it's really taken the hobby to new heights. You're able to talk to muscle car enthusiasts from all over the world. I just wish that some people would be nicer. There's still an ongoing trend that the Ford guys hate the GM guys, the Mopar guys hate the Ford guys, so on and so on. To me it's stupid and I bet Dennis Gauge thinks the same way.

Everyone just needs to get along and enjoy the hobby. I guess it's in our nature and you're just going to have those particular guys that don't want to get along with others. Believe me I know, I ran a muscle car club for two years. But wow, it's funny how you change your views as you grow older and mature. Now I really love watching Dennis Gauge's muscle car show. Every time it comes on the Speed Channel, I take a half hour out of my day to sit down and enjoy My Classic Car. It's very soothing and fun to watch, I guess you could call it a stress reliever.

So if you haven't check out My Classic Car with Dennis Gauge yet, I suggest checking the show out on the Speed Channel. Check your local cable service to see what times it is on. For more information check out their website myclassiccar.com.

Glass Roof Mustangs

So what's everyone think of Ford's new glass roof option on the new Ford Mustang. I absolutely love it, there's nothing like being able to look at the sky on a beautiful day. It also gives it a whole new sleek look on the outside. I think after Ford's designers saw what Saleen Inc. was doing with their custom Mustangs, they thought it would be an excellent idea to make this available as a stock option. But don't expect it to be cheap, Ford will sell this option for an extra $1,995 tacked on to the price of a new Ford Mustang. This is available not only on the premium GT Mustangs, but also the V6 Mustang which is really cool for guys who can't afford the GT model. Just a little specs about the glass roof, the glass roof is made of tinted privacy glass that reduces infrared sunlight. It also improves the vehicle's interior cooling by 50 percent. If you want to completely block out the sun, a manual blind is built in too. The glass also protects interior fabrics from sun damage and Ford engineers claim the new roof also helps improve sound acoustics. The roof also maintains the structural integrity of the Mustang and is constructed as a safety glass in case it shatters. All in all, this makes a sweet stock modification for a new Ford Mustang, I hope you opt for it!
