Chrysler Hooks up with NASA
Latest news in the Mopar world is they have hooked up with NASA to share information on technologies. The deal is three year cooperative agreement. This just makes me wonder though, how is this fair for the other American automotive companies? I guess our government feels that Chrysler needs a boost from bankruptcy, because I know things sure aren't getting better in the automotive economic world. Just a little history, NASA and Chrysler have worked together before with Chrysler building rockets for the Mercury project in the 1960’s. So this isn't the first time the two have worked together, hopefully something good can come out of it.
More Pictures of the Trans Am
Here you go GM fans, more pictures of my beloved 2002 Trans Am WS.6. Some real good shops of the ram air hood scoop on my Trans Am, I just love that angle. I still have my winter rims on so the Trans Am doesn't look as good as it could. I got a few rear body shots, I know some of you are ass men. I can't lie, I'm one two, I've always been fond of the rear lights on the LS1 Trans Am and the new models Mustangs.
Chevy Re-Rates Camaro V6 at 312 Horsepower
We all know there's been a big rivalry between GM and Ford. But now since Ford stated their 2011 V6 Mustang was rated 1 tiny horsepower more than GM's own Chevy Camaro at 305 horsepower. Well GM decided to up the anty and re-rate their Camaro at 312 horsepower.
How can this be some automotive enthusiats might ask? Well an automotive company can do that if they'd like, as long as it's a true figure. Any type of false advertising is a possible lawsuit. Knowing GM though, I'm sure they'll back up their numbers. I think they've made the best muscle car engine for the last few centuries. They are a true solid company.
Other great news is GM plans to make the Synergy Green color available as a limited time for $325 or more. I think the new Synergy Green color sure looks sharp. I can't wait to see one up close in person on Woodward, I bet it looks great at night time.
