SRT8 Dodge Challenger sells for Cheap on Ebay
Woopsie! That's what the Glenn E Thomas Dodge Chrysler Jeep salesmen said when he forgot to set a reserve price on this brand new 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 on Ebay. The SRT8 Challenger ended up selling for only $29,100, $10k cheaper than retail price. An SRT8 usually goes for around $41k!
On the flip side, I think what really happen is that their sniper program didn't work on Ebay. All sorts of companies and people use programs to get more money out of you. For instance you see something on Ebay without a reserve price, looks like an amazing deal so you make a low bid. Automatically the program outbids you a second later, it keeps doing that until it gets to the price the seller wants to sell it for. It's a bit of a scam and I'm surprised the government has cracked down on it. I guess they have bigger problems to worry about.
Now I'm not positive this is what happened, it's just a theory of mine.
Winding Road’s Review on the 2010 Roush 540RH
Popular article website, "Winding Road," gave a great honest review of the new 2010 Roush 540RH. Their chief editor(Seyth Miersma) basically says that both cars are both powered with a similar amount of horsepower, 540hp for both. What it comes down to is the handling! Seyth says the 540RH "does a much better job at containing vertical movement. One is much better able to put down the massive power with confidence and authority, with the stiffer, better-rotating Roush setup." Also better than the Shelby GT500 was the exhaust tone, Winding Road claims the Roush 540RH is extrodinary louder then the GT500. For more information check out Winding Road's article on the topic. Here are some cool pictures of the 2010 Roush 540RH Mustang.
Clear Polycarbonate Hood on Corvette ZR1
I never really made a post about it, so I thought it would be cool if I made one right now. What do you guys think of GM's new clear polycarbonate hood on the 2010 Corvette ZR1. I thought this was one of the coolest ideas GM ever had for a muscle car. I can't think of any other sports car sporting something like this, it's very unique. The clear polycarbonate hood really shows off the LS9 engine's intercooler. I still haven't see the hood in person yet, maybe I'll get a chance out on Woodward this summer, I bet it looks even cooler in person!
$2k in Customizations when you buy a 2010 Challenger
This is offly cool, Mopar is doing a special promotion for their customers when they buy a 2010 Dodge Challenger V8. The buyer will receive $2,000 in Mopar bucks to customize their Challenger. This has to be one of the coolest promotions I have ever seen. I for one would use that money towards Mopar's custom hood scoop from their new "Appearance Package." What modification would you guys go with if you bought a 2010 Challenger?

The massive hood scoop from the Dodge Challenger's appearance package, doesn't it look bad ass?

American Hot Rod with Boyd Coddington
Don't you guys miss the show American Hot Rod with Boyd Coddington? It was one of my favorite muscle car shows on TV. I guess after Body Coddington's death, TLC decided to cancel the show. Although the show had a lot of drama in it, I still loved the American Hot Rod crew build muscle cars every day. I just hope his company will live on, does anyone know if the company is still running?
Toyota Racing’s Sponsafy Your Ride Contest
Please vote for my friend's ride on "Toyota Racing's Sponsafy Your Ride Contest," this enters him in the chance to win a trip to the 2010 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. I know this is a muscle car site and posting a link to one of our evil competitors is wrong. But my friend Brad actually has a classic Ford Torino and is a big muscle car fan, better yet, he actually works for GM! So please vote for his car here.
Also if you'd like, you can design your own car to give yourself a chance in the sweepstakes.
How the whole think works:
The contest will be open to participants between February 12, 2010 and March 15, 2010. In that time, you can create and enter as many designs as your little heart desires. Once you've entered a design -- and it's been approved -- you will have 15 days to rally as many votes as possible. Bug everyone you know, and some that you don't, but just make sure that you do it within the 15-day window.
On April 1, 2010, the top ten finalists, as determined by number of votes, will be posted for a second round of public voting that will last another 15 days. Once that's over, those ten designs will be reviewed by an exclusive judging panel made up of very important people like Toyota team owners, Toyota drivers and media personalities. They'll look for originality, feasibility, creativity, and anything else that they deem important before ultimately making the final decision on a grand prize winner: Which will hopefully be you.
“The Big Three” Muscle Car Picture
This is the one of the greatest pictures of the modern age muscle cars together. I call this picture, "The Big Three." Of course you can tell it's not real, it's pretty much photoshopped, but it's still cool as hell. The rain plopping down on the Shelby Cobra GT500 Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and the Dodge Challenger. Top Gun “I feel the need the need for speed”
This is a movie you can watch over and over again. It's one of those speed addiction movies, similar to I would say Gone in 60 Seconds or Bullitt. The intro of the movie is just superb, director Tony Scott did a wonderful job. If only more of these adrenaline junky movies could be made. Some movies have come out in the last decade, such as Torque and Fast and the Furious, but those movies just sucked compared to the classics. It's probably because these directors use too much special effects and not enough realism, not to mention the acting is really bad in them. I guess were just stuck with the classics!

Roush Mustang Wheels
One of my favorite wheels on the Ford Mustang is the ones Roush Performance fabbed up. The Roush Mustang wheels are five spoke and they come rounded at the edges. On one spoke Roush is even etched in, which makes for a very nice custom look.
Roush gives you a choice of either going with chrome or high polished. Roush also gives you a choice between these sizes: 20" and 18". And if you're going for a real light weight rim, choose the forged option. Roush's forged wheel is stronger, in case you rough roads in your area this wheel can take'em, it's made for superior strength and durability. Down below are some prices of the rims, for more information check out the Roush Performance website.
- RR01 20" x 8.5" Forged Chrome Wheels come in at $770.02
- 18" Chrome Cast Wheels come in at $417.22
- 20-Inch Chrome Cast Wheels come in at $435.29
