A new muscle car video has surfaced of the 2011 Shelby GT500 equipped with the SVT Performance package. The video shows all the neat enhancements to the muscle car, the huge 19 inch custom wheels, the new GT500 unique spoiler, 3:73 axle ratio to improve 60 foot times, and the biggest part; the all aluminum 5.4l engine block sporting 10 more horsepower.

What also is cool the new LCD display sporting the cobra emblem and name, now that makes a great edition to the SVT performance package. Now I know many muscle car enthusiasts will be amazed to see that. So overall what do I think of the package? I think it looks great. I just wish it was a sunnier day so I could see how this baby shines in the sun. It's currently winter over here in Detroit Michigan(Motorcity), so the muscle car video is looking a little gloomy. On tom of that, the tims tend to dull the Shelby GT500 Mustang. I would like to see the Mustang with a nice set of chrome rims on the car, that would really brighten up the red paint job.

Since Ford has switched to an all aluminum block, will this hold up to the boost from the supercharger? I just hope it will, even though Ford has dropped a 100 pounds on the muscle car, I think Mustang fans would not want to see a cracked block. Personally I would rather have an iron block. I hope Ford engineers know what they are doing with the GT500 Mustang, I'm sure they do.

Can't wait to look for this muscle car beast out on Woodward this summer. I'm sure there will be a few dealers and Ford high ups driving this Mustang around. Woodward is one the best places to see the new muscle cars driving around. Other than that, you're gonna go have to spy at Ford's test track.
