One of My Favorite Muscle Cars: Ford GT
I really don't talk much about the Ford GT, but I would like to make an article right now to show how much I actually love this muscle car. It's truly a unique muscle car that will go down in my book as one of my favorites. The car's curves are just so awesome, there's is not one color that looks bad on the Ford GT. Everything from red, white, and black, they all look truly amazing on the muscle car. The two stripes going down the middle also add a nice touch. And the power out of these muscle cars are just impeccable. Believe me, there's a reason why Ford has dubbed this muscle car the Ferrari killer. The 550 horsepower 5.4 liter engine is just a beast, I also liked how you could see it from the back window. Ford kind of copied off of a Ferrari, but who cares, the car is still unique in its own right. It's just too bad Ford stopped making these cars, I absolutely loved them!
Hurst Convertible Mustang Pace Car
Hurst and Ford have been working for years, it's no surprise that one of Hurt's Mustangs will be a pace car at this year's Ford Racing Mustang Challenge race at Virginia International Raceway on April 25, 2010. After the race the muscle car will go up for sale at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. All the proceeds will benefit Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer. Only one of these Hurst convertible Mustang pace cars will be made.
Great Picture of a Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang
This is just an awesome picture of a red Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang. Everything from the head lights being on in the day light and the cool glare going over the red paint of the muscle car. That's what makes this picture somewhat different then others, having the head lights on during day light. I like pictures like this, gives a unique trait to them.
Some automotive enthusiasts say the GT500 is not as good looking as the original, well that may be true in certain aspects, but not as a whole. I think Ford did a great job with the whole muscle car reviving it from the dead, I don't think they could of done a better job. The great thing about the Shelby GT500 too is you don't have to do any performance modifications or customizations to the exterior of the muscle car. It's just absolutely perfect the way it is! If you have the money, go and get one, you will be very impressed with the performance and the style. It's well worth the price Ford is asking for one!
