Diecast Model of the The Fast and the Furious 1970 Dodge Charger
This has to be one of the coolest muscle car diecast models I have seen, it's a model of the 1970 Dodge Charger from the movie "The Fast and the Furious." Everything from the high polished blower supercharger is there, along with the roll bars, slicks, and the chrome torque thrust wheels. This is definitely one diecast model you should have in your house. Maybe even in the back window of your muscle car, that would be really cool!
Dodge Challenger with Blower Supercharger
Isn't this picture of the Dodge Challenger with a blower sick? Found this picture while searching Google, there's no assertion that the muscle car is real, but who cares the muscle car is just amazing looking. The custom flame job and the high polished blower supercharger is what really makes the car. It reminds me of the 1970 Dodge Charger from the movie "The Fast and the Furious." I definitely suggest saving this picture to your hard drive, it's truly one of a kind! Imagine how much horsepower this Dodge Challenger could be making, I'm hoping for 800 horsepower to the rear wheels. This baby surely can lift of the ground! Hey, it's alright to dream right? I'm surprised no one puts blowers like this on new age muscle like in this picture, it definitely looks really cool!
Challenger Marks 40 Years from Inception
Two of the wildest and rarest 2010 Dodge Challenger models will soon be available to Dodge fans and collectors to commemorate 40 years of Dodge Challenger performance: the 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic and Challenger SRT8 Furious Fuchsia editions.
With its Furious Fuchsia Pearl Coat exterior paint and all-new Pearl White leather performance seats, these limited-edition Dodge Challenger models deliver the best of modern American muscle car characteristics - unmistakable design, world-class handling, powerful Hemi V8 engines and technology - now in one of the most significant hues.
"Commemorating four decades of Challenger performance, the new R/T Classic and SRT8 Furious Fuchsia editions modernize one of the most memorable hues from 1970 to create a modern muscle car that exudes more performance, passion and even more nostalgia," said Ralph Gilles, President and Chief Executive Officer, Dodge Car Brand and Senior Vice President - Product Design, Chrysler Group LLC.
"As an ode to our Dodge fans, these highly collective models feature all-new Pearl White leather performance seats with Furious Fuschia accents to deliver a customized, yet contemporary look to the heritage-inspired interior. Sum it all up, and Dodge is delivering a muscle car tribute that no other manufacturer can even match."
Production of the all new 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic and SRT8 in limited-production Furious Fuchsia Pearl Coat will start in May 2010 at the Brampton Assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. These special edition coupes will be built on the same assembly line as the award winning and quality proven Dodge Charger and Dodge Charger SRT8 sedans.
The 2010 Dodge Challenger merges the best American muscle car characteristics - unmistakable design, world class handling, powerful engines and technology - to delight driving enthusiasts across several generations. The Dodge Challenger is produced on the company's proven rear-wheel-drive platform to accommodate five passengers with best-in-class rear head and leg room, along with best in class cargo space equal to the Dodge Charger.
With three models of head turning styling, two legendary HEMI V8 engine choices, up to 25 highway mpg, more than 24 safety and security features and modern amenities, including Media Center 730N with voice activated Uconnect Navigation system and real time traffic available, it's no surprise Dodge Challenger was awarded J.D. Power and Associates' "Most Appealing Midsize Sporty Car" in its 2009 APEAL Study.
The U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price(MSRP) for the new 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic in Furious Fuchsia Pearl Coat is $35,140, while the high performance SRT8 model is $45,150 (both prices include $725 destination). Both Furious Fuchsia editions will be available for order at Dodge dealerships nationwide in March. The Challenger was first introduced in late 1969 as a 1970 model year vehicle.
